Scotty Brock, Priest In Charge

Our new priest will be Father William “Scotty” Brock. He is coming to us from St. Michael’s and All Angels in Savannah, GA, and he will be here starting May 15th! His wife is Mary Anne. Father Brock has a Masters of Divinity, Theology, and Anglican Studies from the Virginia Theological Seminary. He also has a Bachelor of Arts, History Ancient Middle East from Clemson University. He is involved with the Daughters of the King and has served as a spiritual director for Cursillo. He has been involved with the Salvation Army and the Red Cross. Father Brock has a great sense of humor, a wonderful laugh, and an infectous smile. He will be a great asset to St. Davids. Welcome Father Brock!!

Linda Brumbaugh, Church Administrator

Linda is a native of South Carolina, born and raised right here in the capital city of Columbia. She has two grown sons (David and Kris). Her husband, John, is from Martinsburg, West Virginia and also has two grown children (Beth and James). After 13 years in New England (New Hampshire then Boston, MA.), the Brumbaughs returned to SC in 2007. They now reside in the Whitehall subdivision located in Irmo. Linda is not new to the role of an Episcopal Parish Administrator, having spent a little more than 10 years (3 as Christian Education Director and 7+ as the Parish Administrator) at St. Mary’s Episcopal in Irmo, SC. She also has more years than she cares to count in the human resources arena having worked for industries including state government, hospital setting, property casualty insurance, certified public accounting, and personal injury law. Linda says she is an avid reader averaging 4 to 5 books a month. She collects frogs (not the real ones, although she did when she was younger) and children’s storybooks.
