Brian Ewing Memorial Golf Tournament

The Brian Ewing Memorial Golf Tournament has been held annually at the Golf Club of South Carolina at Crickentree since St. David’s member Brian Ewing died in 1999. Organized by the Men’s Club, the tournament is held in April or May. Check the calendar or news sections of this Web site for the date for this year.

Dr. Brian Ewing was managing director of the master of international business studies program at the University of South Carolina, following a distinguished leadership career in business. He loved golf but never played it well and would have gotten a kick out of the St. David’s tournament, a fund-raiser for youth projects and outreach charitable needs, being named for him, according to his wife.

St. David’s welcomes the public to sign up teams to play and/or to sponsor holes in the tournament. Contact the church office to make a reservation.
