Our DOK (Daughters of the King) (http://dok-national.org/) chapter meets on the first Sunday of the month after the 10:30 a.m. service. This is a spiritual sisterhood of women, founded in 1885, dedicated to a life of prayer, service and evangelism. They have made a commitment to Jesus as their Savior, and they follow Him as Lord of their lives.

The Order includes women in the Anglican, Episcopal, Lutheran (ELCA) and Roman Catholic churches. An Order is a community under a religious rule; especially one requiring members to take solemn vows.  They don't just enroll as members and attend meetings; they take life-long vows to follow the Rule of Prayer and Rule of Service.
