Community Service

Our outreach projects support needs in our community. These typically include projects for God’s Storehouse (food/clothing pantry serving northeast Columbia), Central South Carolina Red Cross blood drives (www.centralscredcross.org ), youth mission trips, Central South Carolina Habitat for Humanity (www.habitatcsc.org ), Home Works (www.homeworksofamerica.org ), house repairs), His Hands Ministries (www.hishandsministriesinc.org ),started by St. David’s member C. J. Bilka, serves the homeless in downtown Columbia), the Sparkleberry Country Fair, and others.

One recent project, funded by a grant from the Richland Tuberculosis Association (www.richlandtb.com), involved developing and distributing literature on tuberculosis to the homeless in downtown Columbia.
